New Mills & District Ramblers The Millennium Walkway at New Mills The Walkway completes the missing link of the Midshires Way
	New Mills and District Ramblers was founded in 1972 and is the group for the High Peak Borough. As part of the Ramblers Association of Great Britain the group welcomes members from further afield. New Mills is situated 15 miles south of Manchester and is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park The groups main activity is walking in the Peak District. One or two varied walks are arranged each Sunday, there is a monthly midweek walk, there are evening walks in the summer and there is the occasional Saturday Walk The group organizes coach trips and weekend trips further afield to Wales, the Lake District, Yorkshire and Scotland There is a varied social calendar with activities such as barbeques, slide shows and a Christmas Meal To contact us by e-mail click here Site last updated 25th May 2008
